The Kalahari chair from Rocky Creek Designs is super light, super strong, stores small, and offers a little extra luxury after a long day’s ride.
You’ve had a wonderful day’s ride, you’ve set up camp, time to relax and let the BS flow. Is there anything worse than parking your derriere on the ground or a rock hard stump? Not anymore! This simple, lightweight chair offers a seriously comfortable “Après ride” experience.
The Kalahari is one of our mid size chairs, taller (for those who struggle to sit low to the ground and get up again!) AND rated to 265lbs. Made from super strong 7075 Aluminum Alloy poles the chair weighs in at a mere 3lbs. The synthetic cover is made of mesh, making it breathable and quick drying so you can sit in comfort no matter what the weather. When you’re done, the Kalahari breaks down and packs into its own storage bag (19x5x4in), making transport an absolute breeze.
Once setup the overall height of the chair is 33in, the seat width is 21in and the seat height is 18in. Easy to setup, easy to break down and easy to transport, the Rocky Creek Designs Kalahari Chair is ideal for your trips away when you want a little extra luxury.
The Namib Reclining Chair has been designed from feedback given by our customers. We got a request for a generous size chair with a drinks holder and a pocket to store a race program or your cap etc. The chair must have two positions, a sit-up position and a recline position. A pillow to rest your head and store the carry bag in. Make it light and strong like our other chairs and it MUST fit into a standard pannier.
So we built the Namib Reclining Chair, rated to 265lbs, high strength aluminum tubes are designed to make it very stable, compact and lightweight. The synthetic cover is made of mesh, making it breathable and quick drying so you can sit in comfort no matter what the weather. The chair includes all the luxuries mentioned above. When you’re done, the Namib breaks down and packs into its own storage bag and like all our other chairs, is designed to pack away into a standard pannier.
